Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Service is not directed at children below this age and we do not knowingly collect their data.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account, including any content posted, and for keeping your login credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep it up-to-date, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion in accordance with Section 8.

3. User Content

The Service allows you to upload, post, share, and otherwise make available content including reviews, text, photos, videos, comments, hashtags, location data, ratings, and other materials (“User Content”). You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights you hold in your User Content.

3.1 License you grant to UnoKumo

By submitting User Content to the Service, you grant UnoKumo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, fully paid-up, perpetual, irrevocable (subject to Section 3.3 below), sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, cache, reproduce, publish, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works from, syndicate, and otherwise use your User Content, in whole or in part, in any media, format, or channel now known or later developed, for any purpose connected with the operation, promotion, marketing, improvement, or commercialization of the Service or UnoKumo's business — including but not limited to:

• displaying your User Content within the Service to other users;
• featuring your User Content in marketing, advertising, social media, and editorial channels;
• using your User Content to train, evaluate, and improve recommendation, ranking, search, content moderation, and machine-learning systems operated by UnoKumo or its service providers;
• aggregating, anonymizing, or deriving statistics, datasets, and insights from User Content for internal use, partnership data sharing, and commercial purposes;
• creating, distributing, and monetizing derivative products, compilations, and feeds incorporating your User Content.

You also grant each other user a non-exclusive license to access your User Content through the Service and to use it as permitted by the Service's features (such as quoting, reposting, or saving).

3.2 Your representations

You represent and warrant that:

• you own or have all necessary rights to your User Content and to grant the licenses described in Section 3.1;
• your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual right;
• any photo, video, or recording featuring identifiable individuals has been taken with their consent where required by law;
• your User Content does not contain confidential or proprietary information you are not authorized to disclose.

3.3 Removal and survival

You may remove your User Content from the Service at any time by deleting your review, comment, or account. Removal terminates the license granted in Section 3.1 going forward, except that UnoKumo may retain copies of removed User Content (a) where it has been incorporated into derivative works, aggregated data, or backups; (b) where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution); or (c) where another user has interacted with the User Content (e.g. quoted it in a comment).

3.4 No obligation to use

UnoKumo has no obligation to host, display, distribute, or otherwise use your User Content. We may remove, edit, demote, label, or refuse User Content at our discretion, with or without notice, for any reason or no reason — including content that violates these Terms, our community guidelines, or applicable law.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to permit any third party to, use the Service to:

• post content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, harassing, obscene, sexually explicit involving minors, hateful, or that incites violence;
• impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• post fake, paid, or undisclosed sponsored reviews;
• scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service except as expressly permitted in writing by UnoKumo;
• interfere with or disrupt the Service's integrity, security, or performance;
• upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to damage the Service or its users;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or derive the source code of the Service;
• use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
• circumvent any technical limit, rate limit, or access control;
• collect data about other users without their consent.

5. Reviews

Reviews must reflect honest, first-hand experience. Paid, incentivised, or undisclosed sponsored reviews are prohibited. UnoKumo may verify, label, demote, or remove any review at its discretion. Reviews that are factually false, defamatory, or designed to harass an individual or business may be removed without notice.

6. Intellectual Property of UnoKumo

The Service — including its software, design, logos, trademarks, brand assets, and any content published by UnoKumo — is owned by UnoKumo or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission. The UnoKumo name and logo are trademarks of UnoKumo; nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use them.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or affiliate booking partners.UnoKumo does not control these third parties and is not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Some links may be affiliate or commission-bearing arrangements. Your interactions with any third party are solely between you and the third party.

8. Termination

UnoKumo may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including (without limitation) for breach of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the Service. Sections 3.1, 3.3, 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. UnoKumo makes no representation about the accuracy or reliability of any User Content. You rely on User Content at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UnoKumo, its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless UnoKumo, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your User Content; (b) your use of the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right.

12. Changes to the Service or these Terms

UnoKumomay modify or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms; the “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and UnoKumo agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Singapore, except that UnoKumo may bring an action in any jurisdiction where you reside or have assets to enforce its intellectual property rights.
