It is the only major Roman basilica that retains its original early Christian structure, though it blends multiple styles including Romanesque, Renaissance, and Baroque. However, with the sheer number of visitors due to it's proximity from Roma Termini, I did not manage to get a glimpse on the insides of this magnificent structure.
