ChaTraMue - Siam Paragon
ChaTraMue - Siam Paragon · Bangkok, Thailand
Thailand's most famous tea chain and in my opinion still one of the best. Order your drinks based on your preference of the sweetness level. Once you made your orders, your drinks are made fresh.
KHAO (Ekkamai)
Khao · Bangkok, Thailand
The ambience of the restaurant is very quiet and classy. The food served were good but not really spectacular with the exception of their crab omelette.
CO LIMITED Thai Street Food - emSphere
CO LIMITED Thai Street Food - emSphere · Bangkok, Thailand
The food here is spectacular and totally worthy of their Michelin rating. Every dish that we ordered tasted great.
PRANA Massage & Spa - Ekkamai นวดเพื่อสุขภาพ
PRANA Massage & Spa - Ekkamai นวดเพื่อสุขภาพ · Bangkok, Thailand
Decided to make a booking with Prana after looking at their reviews and it's proximity to my accommodation. It was a very well made decision as I had a fabulous massage session with them.
Central Village Bangkok Luxury Outlet
Central Village Bangkok Luxury Outlet · Bang Chalong Subdistrict, Thailand
The outlet mall is within 15 to 20 minutes car ride from Suvarnabhumi Airport and a good place to hang out and spend your time before catching your flight out of Bangkok.
Pang Cha (World Class Thai Tea) - Emsphere
Pang Cha - EMSPHERE · Bangkok, Thailand
This Thai tea chain, well-known and prominent on social media, ultimately does not live up to its viral reputation. While the drinks are assembled upon order, the tea itself is not freshly brewed, but rather pre-mixed and dispensed. I ordered a Cha-LukkaiThong that cost $155 baht. The Thai ice tea comprises approximately 40% ice and the tea too thick for normal consumption.
Wyndham Garden Bangkok Sukhumvit 42 โรงแรมวินแดม การ์เด้น แบงคอก สุขุมวิท 42
Wyndham Garden Bangkok Sukhumvit 42 · Bangkok, Thailand
Cosy serviced apartment to stay for a short trip. Walking distance to Ekkamai Skytrain Station and shopping malls.
Kumolab - centralwOrld เซ็นทรัลเวิลด์
centralwOrld · Bangkok, Thailand
A cheesecake takeout shop. I've gotten the regular cheesecake and their cheesecake is not too sweet, cheesey nor soft.
Singapore Botanic Gardens
Singapore Botanic Gardens · Singapore, Singapore
The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The garden is sitter in a very large area with varying flora and fauna and also very well maintained. There are also restaurants located within the gardens. Visitors can easily grab some food and drinks when they are visiting the garden.
Xin Long Xing Seafood
Xin Long Xing Seafood · Singapore, Singapore
Interesting place to dine at with indoor/outdoor and private dome room dining. Great food but selection was kind of limited should one not be prepared for a seafood feast. We had 2 different selections of vermicelli, chicken skewers, beef cubes, a vegetable dish and a prawn cooked with glass noodles (not captured in photos). Highly recommend getting the 2 different vermicelli. Both are unique in their own ways.
Sapoto located in Amara Hotel
SAPOTO · Singapore, Singapore
A small yakitori omakase restaurant on level 2 of Amara Hotel, where each skewer is grilled to order in front of you rather than arriving all at once. Lunch is the accessible way in as the set starts at SGD $48++, against $198++ for the full dinner omakase.
Carino Beauty Salon - Johor Bahru
Carino Beauty Salon · Johor Bahru, Malaysia
Great experience at Carino Beauty Salon that's an easy add-on to a day trip across the causeway from Singapore. Did a rejuvenating facial treatment that took approximately 1 and a half hour. Customers are also served some snacks and tea after the session ends, adding on to the wholesome experience.
Georges @ The Cove - Pasir Ris Park
Georges @ The Cove · Singapore, Singapore
A great place to wind-down and relax after work or during the weekends. Enjoy the sunset while dining all just beside the beach.
Ohana Beach House at Pasir Ris
Ohana Beach House · Singapore, Singapore
A laid-back go to place for a slow and relaxing dinner or drinks. Diners may also want to go for a stroll after their meals at Pasir Ris Park just outside the restaurant.
BKK Bistro & Bar at Changi Beach Club
BKK Bistro & Bar · Singapore, Singapore
Interesting outdoor dining place located in Changi Beach Club that serves rather authentic Thai food with a casual setting vibe beside the sea.
Hai Kee Seafood
No. 21, Taman Sri Tebrau Hawker Centre · Johor Bahru, Malaysia
This is basically one of the best seafood I've personally tasted when I visited Johor Bahru in Malaysia! The ambience here is not fantastic but the mouthwatering food makes the visit totally worth it.
First time at Lake Bled in December
Lake Bled · Bled, Slovenia
I came in December because my flight schedule said so and ended up with a version of Bled I think I prefer. The lake at night holds everything twice. The castle floodlit on its cliff doubles in the water; the Parish Church of St. Martin on the north shore doubles too; the string lights wrapped around bare trees along the promenade make the whole shoreline read like a slow-moving constellation. I walked the lake counter-clockwise from Mlino in just under two hours, gloves on, hood up, mostly alone past 6pm. The Advent market near Festival Hall is small but real — mulled wine in proper glass mugs, grilled sausages, a handful of stalls selling Slovenian honey and beeswax candles. Locals outnumbered tourists by my rough count.
Plečnik's colonnade in winter — half the city's silence
Triple Bridge · Ljubljana, Slovenia
In summer the photos all show this colonnade busy with stalls — flower sellers, cheese, baked goods spilling out toward the river. In February it's half-empty and somehow better. The arches frame the same view; the river doesn't change colour for the season; and the silence lets you see what Plečnik actually built. The arcade runs along the Ljubljanica between Triple Bridge and Dragon Bridge — long, colonnaded, double-storeyed, with the lower level cut directly into the embankment so the shopfronts open onto the water through a series of arched windows. From a bridge looking down you see them mirrored in the green water and the whole building becomes almost amphibious. Plečnik designed all of it in the 1940s — the colonnade, the embankment, the bridges that anchor each end — as a single piece of city architecture rather than three separate projects. Most visitors stop on Mesarski most for the photo and move on. Don't. Walk the upper level instead, end to end. You pass through Plečnik's pillars two by two; the river drops away on one side; the rooftops of the old town stack on the other. Twenty minutes there and twenty back gives you something a photograph can't.
St. Peter's Parish Church in Ljubljana
Cerkev Svetega Petra · Ljubljana, Slovenia
15 minutes walk along Trubarjeva cesta, past the boutiques, past the souvenir signage thinning out, to a quieter end of the city. St Peter's is a working parish church. No ticket booth, no audio guides, no signs in four languages. A few people sat scattered across the pews when I stepped in on a weekday afternoon.
Zagreb Cathedral entry blocked for restoration works
Cathedral of the Assumption of Mary · City of Zagreb, Croatia
You walk uphill from the produce stalls, the path bends past Bishop's Palace, and then the cathedral just opens up — twin spires reaching 105 metres, the kind of vertical you have to lean back for. Even from across the square it pulls the eye. In December 2025 it's still partly in scaffolding. The 2020 earthquake snapped the top off one spire and the other is being shored up, so the silhouette right now is half-restored
