An open-air sculpture museum on the edge of Piazza della Signoria that is free, unticketed, lit warm all night. Cellini's Perseus on the left, Giambologna's Rape of the Sabines spiralling on the right, a row of Roman matrons across the back. By day you queue behind tour groups to photograph any of it. After dinner they're all yours.
Traveler Tips
Come back at 11pm. The bronze Perseus reads sinister at night in a way it doesn't at noon.
