I walked up to the top of Ponte degli Scalzi for this view. Most people cross it in thirty seconds on the way somewhere else. Standing still on it for ten minutes is its own small thing.

Traveler Tips

Avoid the immediate restaurants in the station square. Walk five minutes into Cannaregio for a real bacaro. Fog season is roughly November through February (bad for photos but perfect for atmosphere).
