Wandering through the maze-like streets of Gallipoli’s old town, you honestly can’t miss the Basilica Cattedrale di Sant'Agata. It’s the absolute centerpiece of the island, and it’s one of those spots that just stops you in your tracks. The first thing you’ll notice is the facade(makes it look like it’s made of pure gold when the afternoon sun hits it).
Traveler Tips
Remember to keep your shoulders and knees covered as it is a place of worship.
